2015 Cochran Fellowship Program on Food Safety and International Regulations

The Office of International Programs in Agriculture and the Food Industries Center will welcome more than 20 food safety specialists from Central and South America from August 24 – September 4, 2015, as a part of the Cochran Fellowship Program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service. During the 2 week training program, the visitors will receive instruction on HAACP and other food safety regulations from Dr. Valente Alvarez and his team of specialists in Department of Food Science and Technology at Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
