Global Food Security Symposium Convened annually by the Council’s Global Agricultural Development Initiative, the symposium on global agriculture and food security provides a platform for discussion about the US government and international community’s progress on addressing the problem of food insecurity. The 2019 symposium will be a two-day event. Prior to the full day of presentations and report release on March 21, the Council will offer solution sessions to engage in dialogue with global partners. The symposium will be held on March 20-21, 2019 in Washington, DC.
