Dr. Pauline Bernardo has experience in plant virology including studies of plant virus diversity, discovery, epidemiology, ecology to diagnostics. Presently, she is working to understand transmission of Maize chlorotic mottle virus through seed and to develop approaches to prevent MCMV spread through seed. Dr. Bernardo obtained her PhD degree in Plant Virology from the University of Montpellier, France in 2014 and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University from 2015-2016.
