Carlos Bolanos has a PhD in agronomy from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He is working with soybean pathogens in linkage and QTL mapping. He has worked in several crops such as roses, potatoes, oil palm, coffee, wheat, and soybean.
He will present information about the most significant crops planted in Ecuador, the beauty of the “enchanted islands” Galapagos, and the risk of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense Tropical Race 4.
