    The Slovene Research Initiative (SRI) at The Ohio State University invites proposals for the SRI Visiting Scholar Exchange Program. SRI is a collaborative program focused on faculty exchange administered by the Center for Slavic and East European Studies (CSEES) at Ohio State made possible by the generous support of the Slovene Ministry of Education and Science and the Research Center at the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts.

    THE NORMAN E. BORLAUG INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM, known informally as the "Borlaug Dialogue," each year brings together over 1,200 people from more than 65 countries to address cutting-edge issues related to global food security and nutrition. The three-day conference convenes a wide array of scientific experts, policy leaders, business executives and farmers and has been called "the premier conference in the world on global agriculture." Through the Borlaug Dialogue, the World Food Prize Foundation helps build alliances in the struggle against world hunger and malnutrition.

    AIARD Annual Meeting 2017 - Washington, D.C. This year’s AIARD annual meeting will explore the emerging science and implementation strategies of organizations working on climate smart agriculture and how these can contribute to agricultural growth and improved food security and nutrition in emerging markets. Sessions will look at best practices from research on climate smart adaptation and mitigation, hear from key institutions, both government and foundation, on funding trends, and learn from practitioners about best practices in the field.

    Ohio Youth Institute at Ohio State University At this exciting day-long event, participating high school students have the opportunity to:   -  Present research and recommendations on how to solve global challenges in a short speech and small group discussions with experts;   -  Connect with other student leaders from across Ohio to share ideas, identify solutions to these problems and build lasting friendships;   -  Interact with global leaders in science, industry and policy;

    The Chicago Council on Global Affairs is now accepting applications from students to participate in the Global Food Security Symposium 2017 Next Generation Delegation. The symposium will be held March 29-30, 2017, in Washington, DC.

    The Symposium organized by Huazhong Agricultural University and The Ohio State University will be held at Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China. The International Symposium on Perch and Bass is designed to provide a forum on recent development and future directions in perch and bass research, development and production.
