The delegation of China Ministry of Agriculture visited Ohio State - College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as a part of the U.S.-China Scientific Cooperative Exchange Program, a program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service aimed at promoting U.S. agricultural priorities, encouraging long-term cooperation in agricultural science and technology, creating a positive atmosphere for agricultural trade, and enhancing overall relations between the United States and China (October, 2016).
Building on existing agricultural collaborations, The Ohio State University and Huazhong Agricultural University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen joint training of graduate students, establish education abroad programs, expand research and exchange findings (May, 2016).
