Here’s a video from 8 years ago: Link to Celebration of Nations short promo video We’re now in a venue with more space and instead of having an international restaurant bring food, people sample food from the dozens of nations at each of their tables i.e. booths. But the upbeat atmosphere remains the same.
We are also seeking internationals based in Columbus interested in presenting on their countries at this event or in 30-minute talks each semester. Please contact Jason Owens.1132@osu.edu
If you're interested in anything international on
OSU's Wooster Campus, please contact me:
Jason Owens https://ipa.osu.edu/people/jason-owens-phd
owens.1132@osu.edu
Especially if you'd like to do a presentation like the following. We seek international students, scholars, staff or faculty to do a 30 minute presentation on their home country's culture and agriculture, with food reflecting that culture, financed by us and prepared by presenters or at local restaurants. We program this monthly (except summer) on either campus and offer via Zoom (without food) at the non-presenting campus. So encourage your compatriots or international colleagues.
